Human Rights Revolutions
Are you ready to proceed into the most explosive debates of the conference, where sovereignty clashes with rebellion, and human rights hang in the balance? In this UNHRC committee, delegates will confront challenges about determining whether rebellions should be justified or criminalized, how modern-day slavery should be dismantled, and when the international community, such as the UNHRC, can help intervene and protect communities in the crossfire of revolutionary movements.

Director
Hika Harris is a senior at Raisbeck Aviation High School and is elated to serve as the UNHRC’s director! After being dragged along to EDUMUN 2023 by her sister, she unexpectedly fell in love with the insanity of MUN, having been hooked ever since. After failing to start a club at her own school, Hika has continued her MUN spiral as a stowaway, freeloading off the Enumclaw delegation. When she’s not fighting for her life in 180-country committees, Hika can be found waging war against her AP calculus class, driving solar-powered racecars, or failing to meet her Goodreads book goal (for the fourth year in a row). Coming into her third and final year of staffing CLAWMUN, Hika is excited to see how this year’s iteration will unfold and can’t wait for the chaos to begin!
Chair
Jess is a junior at Enumclaw High School and also does running start through Green River College. She is beyond ecstatic to serve as your chair for UNHRC. After connecting with some of the coolest people at her first conference-PACMUN 2025, she decided to continue participating in these MUNtastic events. She loves the random plot twists in the crises debates and building her leadership skills through MUN. When she's not locking in on researching for her next conference, she enjoys building engineering projects, listening to music, watching Studio Ghibli movies and eating ice cream. Jess is excited to meet all the delegates and have a fun time at CLAWMUN 2026!
